Student Leadership Opportunities

Leadership at Alondra isn’t a single class—it’s a way of showing up for your school and community. Students lead by building school spirit, supporting peers, taking initiative, and modeling respect, responsibility, and kindness.

Where Students Lead

  • Campus Culture & Service: Help plan events, welcome new students, support attendance initiatives, and participate in service/beautification.
  • Clubs & Enrichment: Take roles in clubs (e.g., environmental/green, arts, STEM/MESA), organize activities, and mentor younger peers.
  • Academics & STEM: Lead design challenges and collaborative projects in courses like AVID, Visual Arts, and PLTW.
  • Athletics & Wellness: Captain teams, model sportsmanship, and promote healthy habits.
  • Positive School Practices: Advance Capturing Kids’ Hearts and Safe & Civil Schools routines that make our campus safe and welcoming.

How to Get Involved

  • Check ParentSquare for leadership sign-ups, info meetings, and roles.
  • Call the office: (562) 602-8004 to ask about current leadership opportunities.
  • Talk with your school counselor about building leadership into your schedule and activities.

At Alondra, every student can lead—in the classroom, on the field, on stage, and across our community. Jump in and make your mark!
