Serving our Community

At Alondra Middle School, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Students, families, and staff are encouraged to give back through service and involvement, helping strengthen both our school and the Paramount community. By working together, we foster responsibility, leadership, and a spirit of caring that benefits everyone.

Ways to Get Involved

  • School-Based Service Projects: Students can participate in campus beautification, peer mentoring, and leadership activities that build pride in our school.
  • Community Events: Alondra regularly takes part in district-wide activities and city events that connect students and families to the broader Paramount community.
  • Parent Committees & Workshops: Families are invited to serve on the School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee, and PTSA, or attend workshops that build skills to support their children at home.
  • After-School Clubs & Programs: From AVID leadership to arts, athletics, and service clubs, students have opportunities to develop teamwork and make a positive impact.
  • District Initiatives: Programs such as the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP), Capturing Kids’ Hearts, and Safe & Civil Schools encourage civic engagement, empathy, and inclusive participation.
