Electives- Robotics, VAPA & More

A design-focused, hands-on STEM elective where students learn to think like engineers and problem-solve through real-world challenges. PLTW builds creativity, collaboration, and technical skills that connect directly to future pathways. 

Standards-based art instruction that develops creative expression and visual literacy. Students explore techniques and media while building a portfolio and showcasing work connected to core learning. 

Additional electives may be offered based on student interest and staffing. Options are shared with families before each term so students can explore interests, build leadership, and try something new. 

Course Request & Counseling: Counselors support students in selecting electives that match their goals and interests. 

Session/Term Announcements: Elective offerings and request windows are shared with families through ParentSquare and the school office. 

Schedule Adjustments: Limited changes may be available early in the term; details are communicated directly to students and families. 

After-school clubs and enrichment complement our electives—giving students more ways to practice skills from AVID, PLTW, and Visual Arts (e.g., engineering/building challenges, creative arts, leadership, and wellness activities). Current offerings and sign-ups are posted on ParentSquare and available through the school office.
